Kelly Rowland has landed a new record deal with Universal Motown. Universal label head Sylvia Rhone announced that the former Destiny Child member will become part of the Motown family. After Kelly was dropped by Columbia Record she enjoyed some success without a record label collaborating with David Guetta.
During the announcement by Sylvia Rhone, President of Universal Motown Records she was quoted saying “I think Kelly is an immensely talented, gracious, and beautiful woman, and I am thrilled about the opportunity to work with her on what will turning out to be an amazing album. For an artist whose career began as a member of a landmark group like Destiny’s Child. Kelly has truly come into- her-own and I am deeply inspired by her incredible energy.â€
